Day 1 :

Delhi to Shimla

Delhi to Shimla Over night Volvo Transit to Shimla.
Pick up location : RK Ashram Gate number 2 - 10:30 PM

Day 2 :

Shimla to Chitkul

The route to Chitkul by Sangla and Sarahan. Sangla is one of the most beautiful valleys in the country, and in Tibetan, the word Sangla means "Passing of the light," and the place truly lives to its name during the sunlight when the view around is just mesmerizing.
then we will enter into Kinnaur Valley crossing Tapri - Sangla then to Chitkul so after an long drive witness the magical night of Chitkul.

Day 3 :

Chitkul to Tabo

Witness the magical sunrise then post breakfast we will head towards tabo and enroute exploring Khab,Nako and giu Monastery. post lunch head towards Tabo and call it a day.

Day 4 :

Tabo - Pin Valley - Dhankar - Kaza

Today will be a long day Early Check-out from Tabo off to Pin valley then to Dhankar Monastery followed by Dhankar lake tek which will be an optional activity but highly reccomeded. then by evening will head towards Kaza. Late Check-in and make some music share stories and have a memorable night.

Day 5 :

Full Day of Kaza excursion

Chicham - Ki - Kibber - Langza - Komic - Hikkim
After a cozy night in your comforters, wake up to a beautiful morning in Kaza. Though small, the village has ample sightseeing options.
Today is the records breaking day. We wil visit the highest village in India, Komic, which has a motorable road. We will drive today to Langza. A giant painted Buddha statue stands in front of the new monastery on a hill above the settlement. The Buddha is shown contacting the soil in the figure, which faces west and looks out over the Spiti valley.
The Geological Survey of India considers Spiti one of the world's most fossil-rich regions. Fossils reaching back a few hundred million years have been discovered in isolated villages of Himachal Pradesh's Lahaul and Spiti valleys. Now banned for tourists to buy fossils by the Government of Himachal Pradesh.
We will finally send a postcard from Hikkim to our loved ones from the highest Post office in the world. Don't forget to bring some stamps and postcards.

Day 6 :

Kaza to Kalpa

Once you reach the hotel at Kalpa, we head out to Reckong Peo Market, The Kothi Temple, and the suicide point. Arrive at your hotel in the evening. Dinner & night stay at hotel in Kalpa. With beautiful views of the Kinnaur Kailash mountains.

Day 7 :

Kalpa to Shimla

Once you check out from the Hotel in Kalpa, we head to Shimla. The picturesque views and beautiful weather will add to your excitement. Enjoy the ride to Shimla before you bid goodbye to the most dreamt tour of the Himalayas.
On Arival Shimla after spending 2-3 hours at Shimla Ridge we will drop you at Volvo Stand at Shimla fot the overnight Volvo Transit to Delhi.

Which is the best time to visit spiti valley?

Annapurna Base Camp is a Grade B or a moderately difficult trekking route. So any fit person can do this trek, even if you do not have any previous experience. You should be aware of what to expect and mentally prepare for it. Then, as long as you will too, you can.

How many days are sufficient for exploring spiti valley?

On average, you walk about 4 to 6 hours per day. One or two days can be as less as 3hrs and one or two days can be as long as 7hrs.

What kind of food is available in spiti valley?

The highest altitude reached is 4190m. This is the elevation of Annapurna Base Camp. ABC is the highest we will climb in this trek.

What kind of outdoor activities can be done in spiti valley?

Yes, you can charge batteries en route. Charger should be brought. There are hot shower facilities as well. You may have to pay a certain amount for both ($1-$2). Negotiate. Also, a hot water facility could be free at a lower elevation.

What is the condition of road infrastructure of spiti valley?

No. There are no ATMs on this trek route. You will have to draw enough cash in Pokhara or Kathmandu. There are a number of ATMs in these cities. Everything is paid in Nepali rupees. So money should be exchanged before the start of the trek.

What about internet access?

Yes. The Internet can be accessed in most places. Sometimes, there might be some technical problems. The Internet in Nepal is not as fast as you are used to and at times you can just lose connection.

What are the general requirements for this trip?

Not really. It depends on you. If you want, ABC trekking can be done independently. You could hire a guide and a porter by yourself instead of going through an agency or not hire a guide at all. Although, not having a guide can be a little problematic during the offseason.

It really depends on you. Is it your first time in Nepal? How confident are you of being able to find your way around? How pressed on time are you? If you go through an agency, it will be costlier but everything will be planned. You will only have to come, trek and return.

What is the general weather conditions in spiti valley?

For the Annapurna region, pay for guides range from $20 to $30 per day and porters take $15 to $25 per day.
